Module 1
Principle and Practices in Pre-school Education
 
CPT 101 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education (10 hours)
This module provides an overview of the pre-school education. It deals with the philosophy, goals of pre-school education and the desired outcome of pre-school education.

Module 2
The Developing Child
CPT 102 - Child Development (90 hours)
The course assists students in understanding the process of child development from birth to 8 years. Some of the areas addressed are a child's physical development, cognitive development, language development and social development. A discussion of modern theories of child development is included.

Module 3
Curriculum Studies, Pedagogy and Montessori
This module consists of 6 subjects.

CPT 103 - Curriculum Planning (30 hours)
CPT 104 - Learning Environment in Early Childhood (20 hours)
CPT 105 - Creative Play & Expressive Arts (20 hours)
CPT 106 - Development of Language (30 hours)
CPT 107 - Mathematics(30 hours)
CPT 108 - Science for Young Children (30 hours)


 
It includes demonstration and theory of Montessori Materials.
