This module will provide opportunities for students to explore professional, behaviour and responsibilities of early childhood teachers. Students will be made aware of the varied roles of the teacher as a person, team member, and a professional. This subject focuses on the roles of teachers in collaboration with parents, family and primary care givers in the development of children.

This course will assist the students to focus on concepts and skills involving designing research projects, a range of research methodologies and the approaches that underlie them. Students are expected to begin the task of framing a clear research question and designing an independent research project.
