This course assists students to examine management structures found in early childhood set flags and key areas of accountability for teachers, children, parents, government and other agencies. Students will investigate the influence of external and internal factors on the management of early childhood settings
and provision for good quality outcomes for children.

This course assists students to develop knowledge of investigating the interpersonal and group dynamics of management of children’s services and examine the impact of government licensing policies and standard of service delivery upon the management and operation of Childcare Centres particularly in relation to the attainment of high quality care for the children. |

This course assists students to develop knowledge of the impact of adults in early childhood programs. Qualities of
effective teaching members concerning what professional teaching qualifications, training and personal characteristics which is required to work efficiently with young children. Students will understand the trends and issues focusing on professional qualifications for improving the qualily of all personnel and the issue of professional development linked with career advancement and compensation is far from resolved.

This course assists students to develop knowledge in working with parents, creating a friendly atmosphere yet retains an appropriate distance, on an expert who builds competence in others, who is understanding, empathetic, yet at times firm. Students will know the importance of collaboration with parents and referral agencies when managing difficult children. In addition, the importance of professional growth and development is emphasized. |

This course assists students to identify with the concepts of leadership as part of their professional role and as centre supervisors/principals, they have to demonstrate high levels of autonomy and independence in policy and practical areas.
