About University of Southern Queensland
USQ is a dynamic, young University that offers award programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels by on-campus, off-campus or online study. Many students choose different modes of delivery for different periods of their study. We believe that flexible delivery is about giving people what they want, where they want it, when they want it, in their style, in their place, in their time.

USQ has a well-resourced main campus in the city of Toowoomba as well as many regional support offices throughout Australia and in other countries where we offer our award programs. We have a well-equipped
campus at Hervey Bay , serving the Wide Bay region, another campus at Springfield.

The University has strong research programs in such areas as biotechnology, agricultural and environmental engineering, sustainable land use, design and development of fibre composites, numerical modelling and simulation, e-business and e-commerce, school leadership, children's literacy, theatre
studies, literature and regional history. It is renowned for its performing and visual arts programs and is a world leader in nline learning technologies and pedagogy.

Overall, the University has embraced the need for change implicit in an educational environment that is highly competitive and dominated by the evolution of global communications technologies. It intends to remain fast, fluid and flexible in meeting the needs of learners throughout Australia and internationally. It will meet these needs without compromise to the quality and integrity of its programs and standards.
Toowoomba Campus
USQ's main campus is located on 75.6 hectares of landscaped grounds ten minutes drive from the centre of Toowoomba. Toowoomba is a city of approximately 90 000 residents, and is about 90 minutes drive from the Queensland capital, Brisbane .

The Toowoomba campus is modern and well-equipped. All USQ students in the region, whether studying on-campus, off-campus or online, are welcome to use the library, computer labs and other facilities on the Campus.
Wide Bay Campus
USQ's Wide Bay campus is located on the coast of Queensland at Hervey Bay. A short flight or a three-hour drive from Brisbane , Hervey Bay is a great location with a superb climate, pristine beaches and a cosmopolitan lifestyle.

The campus is walking distance to shops, sporting facilities and the calm bay waters, which are perfect
for diving, swimming, snorkelling and marine studies. The campus caters to small class sizes and prides itself on personal face-to-face teaching or supportive distance learning. It is technologically state-of-the-art and provides ready access to global information and resources.
Springfield Campus
Students who study at USQ Springfield will enter a supportive environment dedicated to learning. The brand new, purpose-built campus is situated in the exciting new Education City precinct, alongside a range of education providers including schools and training colleges.
